When my mother underwent chemotherapy, we spent a lot of time visiting the phlebotomy lab for blood testing. I was always impressed by how easily the phlebotomist was able to find and puncture a vein to draw blood on the first try. I knew there had to be a method to it, and was astounded by how effortless and painless they made the process. It led me to research a lot about blood tests, from drawing to the actual screening. I've created this site to share what I've learned in the hopes of teaching others. The more you understand, the more control you can have over your own health care.
As you grow older, your cell regeneration process slows down. You begin to lose skin elasticity, radiance and vitality. Know when elasticity is depleted. Your skin doesn't appear softer and smoother anymore and is not receiving essential nutrients. Environmental damage coming from the sun's ultraviolet rays causes your skin to lose its resilience too. There are skin care antiaging treatments that you can use to correct the ravages of time and the environment on your skin.
Products That Befit Your Skin Type
The first action you should take is finding products that befit your skin type. Visit a dermatologist and learn for sure for sure whether you have oily, normal or a mix of both skin types. Your dermatologist will suggest what products you should use on your face. He or she might write a prescription for an ointment to tighten your skin.
You will need a serum that should be applied morning and night after you've cleansed your face. Using a serum product helps to replenish your protective moisture barrier, which helps your skin to look radiant. Choose a serum that's formulated with hyaluronic acid. That will bring back more suppleness to your skin. Remember to use the serum application before you moisturize your face.
Using Facial Oil
You also may need to apply a facial oil because your skin's natural oil production decreases as skin matures. Work a few drops of the oil on your face and spread it to your nose and outer eye areas as well as your jawline. Check with your dermatologist whether you should skip using this product if you have oily skin.
Eye Cream Products
Don't wait until you're older to apply eye-care products. A light eye cream is recommended even if you have no wrinkles. When dark circles and under-the-eye bags and wrinkles begin to show up, use an eye cream around your entire eye area. Pat the eye cream into those fine lines that are called crow's feet wrinkles around your eyes.
There are some really cool and potent antiaging cream honey products, which you can take advantage of. Some of them contain natural oils that are nurturing, but the oils are not sticky and do provide your skin with hydration that lasts for a long time. Check out some of these honey products that you can also use on your neck, chest and hands.
Avoid Using Harsh Products and Heavy Scrubbing Of Your Face
Using harsh products and heavy scrubbing of your face are not good for your skin. So, if you're removing makeup, do so without irritating and damaging your skin. You should be extra careful when you are cleansing around your eyes. Use micellar water to remove makeup from your face. Micellar water is known to remove even the most resistant, debris, dirt, and makeup from your sensitive skin.
