Testing, Testing 123: Phlebotomy Basics

When my mother underwent chemotherapy, we spent a lot of time visiting the phlebotomy lab for blood testing. I was always impressed by how easily the phlebotomist was able to find and puncture a vein to draw blood on the first try. I knew there had to be a method to it, and was astounded by how effortless and painless they made the process. It led me to research a lot about blood tests, from drawing to the actual screening. I've created this site to share what I've learned in the hopes of teaching others. The more you understand, the more control you can have over your own health care.

Have A Mommy Tummy You Want To Shrink Fast? Find A Surgeon And Try These Options

by Francisco Arnold

If you feel like your body just isn't the same since you have had kids and you are dieting and exercising but not getting the results that you want, it may be time to see a cosmetic surgeon. You can talk with the surgeon about all of the different options that are available, whether the results you are looking for are dramatic or minor. Here are a few of the things that you should explore to help you get the body that will make you happy and allow you to feel confident.

Liposuction and Injection Placement

Liposuction is a great option for many reasons. It allows the surgeon to pull fat directly from the area that you are bothered with and where you aren't getting the results that you want. The surgeon can then take the fat from your own body and put it in other areas, like the butt and breasts.

You will notice the results from the liposuction immediately, and the results will improve for months after. The injection placement allows you to get bigger breasts or a round bottom or to improve other areas of the body that you want and to help you get your ideal shape.

This procedure has a fast recovery time for those that can't undergo major surgery. Get a consultation to see what you can do with your body and how long it will take to recover.

Tuck and Contour

A tummy tuck and contour is a better option for women who have a lot of weight to lose and who are worried about loose skin. If you know that you will need to have the extra skin cut and tucked, talk with the surgeon about this. The recovery for this will be longer than the liposuction and injections, but it may be the best way to get your desired body.

When you go in for your consultation ask about other things that may help you feel better about your body or improve your image. If you are going to go under the knife for a tummy tuck, you may want to consider breast enhancement as well.

The surgeon will be able to look at your body, let you know if you are healthy enough to undergo surgery, and what lifestyle changes you will need to make while you recover. If you aren't happy with your body, do what you need to and make an appointment to change it today.
