When my mother underwent chemotherapy, we spent a lot of time visiting the phlebotomy lab for blood testing. I was always impressed by how easily the phlebotomist was able to find and puncture a vein to draw blood on the first try. I knew there had to be a method to it, and was astounded by how effortless and painless they made the process. It led me to research a lot about blood tests, from drawing to the actual screening.   • Spend Time With Supportive People: When you have the support of loving family members and friends, dealing with a mental health condition becomes easier. Try to stay away from those who put you down and are not a good influence.
  • Get Plenty of Exercise: Exercise is not just good for the body, it also works wonders for the mind. When you work out, you release endorphins and feel happier. If you do not want to join a gym, think about walking or running outside regularly.
  • Stay Away from Drugs and Alcohol: When you are struggling with your mental health, using drugs or alcohol may help you feel better initially. However, they may eventually make your condition worse.
